***NEW 2012 Kinsmen Rules: please read.
3.6 One throw away is allowed; thus the race with the worst results will be automatically dropped in the final standings. In 2012, in addition, one crossover race (Atwater, Davis, or Prairie City) can be used as a throw away…for a total of two. Any DQ cannot be used as a throw away and will result in zero (0) points.
3.7 To receive year-end awards a driver must compete in a minimum of seven (7) club races and 2 crossovers (from Atwater, Davis or Prairie City) in any ONE class. In addition, there must be a minimum of three entries in each of the required races to receive a championship jacket. A driver must be a club member to receive club points. Points are awarded from date of membership.

Important Info:
* As per our WKA insurance, ALL Kid Kart drivers must be at the obtained age of five years old in order to race. There are no exceptions.
*Snell 2005 Helmet
* All drivers must wear a neck brace while running on the track.
*All drivers must have racing boots or high top shoes on while on the track.
*Proper race wear must be worn when running on the track. No wind breakers, sweatshirts, or nylon running pants. Please check rules for proper race wear.
*All shifters must run a air box (due to noise).
*NO TIRE DOPING!!!!
*All karts must have a chain guard
*Weights must be painted white
*Karts must be securely fastened with safety wire or cotter pins

Kinsmen Kart club sells pit spots for $100. Per year. This will reserve your spot for the race season of 2011. Please don’t park on the spots with pink tape. They have been reserved for this season already. If you would to reserve a pit spot please let Jessica Luther know.
